Bangladesh today confirmed 23 more deaths from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 5,643.
According to the Health authorities, 1,209 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 387,295.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has made the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.
As 1,560 patients have recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recoveries reached 302,298, it also said.
A total of 21,51,702 samples have been tested so far as 11,573 samples tested in 110 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country in last 24 hours, the release added.
Bangladesh reported its first croronaviurs case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
